Josh Greenbaum
Josh Greenbaum is an Emmy Award winning director working across narrative, documentary, television, and commercials. His feature documentary THE SHORT GAME won the Audience Award at the SXSW Film Festival and was acquired by Netflix to launch their Originals film division. His next two feature docs, BECOMING BOND and TOO FUNNY TO FAIL, together launched Hulu’s Original Documentaries label and picked up another SXSW Audience Award. In the narrative space, he recently directed BARB AND STAR GO TO VISTA DEL MAR, the forthcoming feature comedy written by and starring Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo for Lionsgate, and is attached to direct an adaptation of the bestselling children’s book FLAT STANLEY for 20th Century Fox. In addition, he has written and developed film projects for Paramount Pictures and Sony Pictures.
Greenbaum has also directed award winning commercials for Dove, AT&T, ESPN College Gameday, Converse, Carhartt, and has directed top name talent such as Ben Affleck, John McEnroe, Matt Damon, and most recently a commercial starring Arnold Schwarzenegger that garnered 17 million hits in less than two days.
Greenbaum is a graduate of Cornell and Oxford Universities and received his MFA in film from the graduate program at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts.
